Four Thousand Year-Old Chinese “World Map” Discovered!? As expected, Japan Was Small!
Hello, everybody.
I have found a true story though it sounds
false. It seems that the talked-about world
map was made in China 4000 years ago, 2500 years before discovery of the
American continent by European Caucasians during the Age of Exploration. The ancient map is shown below.
The current
world map is shown for comparison. You
can tell how precise the ancient map was.
Incidentally,
the discoverer of the map is Ms. Charlotte Harris Rees.
The map seems to have been found out by
accident among a lot of materials collected by her late father, a native of
China, who had made a research of ancient China.
