The Chinese Communist Party Central
Commission for Disciple Inspection in charge of supervising corruption of party
members will build a case against Mr. Zhou Yongkang, 71, a heavyweight of Ziang Zemin faction
and a former member of the top decision-making body, the Politburo Standing
Committee, on suspicion of “serious disciplinary
violation”, and investigate him. The Chinese state media announced on 29 at

At the 18th Party Congress in 2012, Mr.
Zhou stepped down from the position as a member of the Politburo Standing
Committee and as the Secretary of the Central Political and Legislative
