Just looking at the title of the president
of National Chauvinistic Husbands Society, I thought that his wife must know
his weakness. I believe that I am not the only one who thinks this way. I feel
that the last phrase “There is no cutest creature in this world other than a wife
only when she is in a good humor” hits the nail on the head.
Reading this article, I imagine that his
wife is probably not a dog-type but a cat-type person. I was surprised to learn
that as many as 7,500 men sign up as members, which the society is proud of. It
might be fair to say that brave men get together in order to get a key to an
eternal mystery.
“Only people who have overcome the
challenge can get eternal love.” This is true. I highly evaluate these 7,500
men all over Japan at least in that they recognize the challenge is not in the
society but in the home. The reality is that most soft men utilize the company
as the second mother, or so to speak a shelter.
I hear that there are a great number of men who develop a phobia of going home. Men who escape from the front line of
the fight cannot have matured as men.
Let’s suppose that you dislike a centipede.
Try to catch a centipede and closely observe it for a while. The longer you
observe it, the less creepy and less scaring you will feel it. Instead, you
will get to admire its elaborate form and beauty like an artwork. It is the
same with a spider or cockroach.
Long time ago, I watched a TV program. A
female researcher of cancer got to love cancer cells one day after she kept on closely
watching them. They say that cancer cells cannot live under the presence of
oxygen. The female researcher said: “I want to protect them.”
This is an example of “key to an eternal
mystery.” Just stare at the object without denying or admitting it, namely,
just by getting rid of all emotions.” You can get to love the object you stare
at, even cancer cells. What is most important is “just gaze at it.” Most
couples make a mistake gazing at the other side with expectations. This leads
to dissatisfaction or anger with the other side.
“Those who have overcome the challenge”
means those who succeed in gazing at the other side by getting rid of any
desires in their heart. Try to apply this technique of “just gazing” not only
to your husband or children but to yourself. Enlightenment is near at hand.
