When did the Noah’s Great Flood occur after the birth of Adam? – If we think that the description in the Bible is consistently right, we cannot explain it well. And the Old Testament is generally full of contradictions, so we should not accept it literally.
There is the family line from Adam to Noah in Genesis 5. This description enables us to know when the Noah’s Great Flood occurred after the birth of Adam.
(This is the written account of Adam’s family line)

The last article gives the answer to the question. Use Zecharia Sitchin’s theory, and the birth year of Adam can be easily determined by calculation shown in red bold-faced type. When computed from this, the Great Flood occurred 1,656 years after Adam was born.

The problem is when the Noah’s Great Flood occurred. In yesterday’s article I pointed out that “Noah’s Great Flood occurred 15,050 years ago (13,035B.C.).

Mr. Benjamin Creme, an esotericist, says at pag147 of the book “Maitreya’s Mission Volume III”:“The story of Noah is a purely symbolic expression of the collapse (16,000 years ago) of the island of the Poseidonis (currently the Azores), the last remnant of the continent and civilization of Atlantis.

Mr. Benjamin Crème also says at the same page: “The story of Noah relates to a period about 15,500 years ago at the time of the biblical flood.  ….    The area of the Middle East and the Mediterranean basin was affected but there were large and masses elsewhere which were not affected.” According to the article below, the Great Flood occurred 11,000 BC, which I think is wrong.

If we use the formula, we can determine the birth year of Adam by inverse calculation of the year when the Great Flood occurred. However, if we believe the Bible as it is, the Great Flood occurred 1,656 years after Adam was born.

This is extremely contradictory to our common sense and we need correction. The last article also introduces the theory of Mr. Alan F. Alford, who used the number computed by multiplying the number described in the Old Testament by 100. However, I choose Mr. Sitchin’s theory here. As Sumerians used the sexagesimal system, Mr. Sitchin thought that 9,9360 years, which is computed by multiplying 1,656 years by 60, is the elapsed time from the birth of Adam to the Great Flood. According to the article, the Great Flood is considered to have occurred 11,000 BC and Adam’s birth year would be 110,360 BC.

Mr. Benjamin Crème says at page 387 of “Maitrey’s Mission Volume III” (Japanese version) that current our race is the Aryan race and ***“it has been only 100,000 years since we were created and it is at a very early stage.” Therefore, if we think the birth of Adam to be the birth of the Arian race, Zecharia Sitchin’s theory would be quite satisfactory.

However, it’s not so quite simple. Read Genesis 11, the source of the first article, and you will see the family line of Noah’s son, Shem – from Shem to Abraham. If we calculate in the family line from Shem to Abraham as in the case of the family line from Adam to Noah, it turns out that Abraham was born only 290 years after the Great Flood. It is hardly possible for the civilization to have been recovered from the devastation. Therefore, adopting Zecharia Sitchin’s theory, I try to multiple 290 by 60 times. Then the answer is 290×60=17,400 years. It means that Abraham was not born at that time.

To sum it up, if we think that the description in the Bible is consistently right, we cannot explain well when the Noah’s Great Flood actually occurred.

Chapter 5
1 This is the list of the descendants of Adam.
(When God created human beings, he made them like himself.
2 He created them make and female, blessed them, and named them “Human Beings.”)
When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son who was like him, and he named him Seth.
4 After that, Adam lived another 800 years. He had other children
5 and died at the age of 930.
When Seth was 105, he had a son, Enoch.
7 and then lived another 807 years. He had other children.
8 and died at the age of 912.
When Enosh was 90, he had a son, Kenan.
10 and then lived another 815 years. He had other children.
11 and died at the ager of 905.
12 When Kenan was 70, he had a son, Mahalalel,
13 and then lived another 840 years. He had other children
14 and died at the age of 910.
15 When Malahalel was 65, he had a son, Jared,
16 and then lived another 830 years. He had other children
17 and died at the age of 895.
18 When Jared was 162, he had a son, Enoch,
19 and then lived another 800 years. He had other children
20 and died at the age of 962.
21 When Enoch was 65, he had a son, Methuselah.
22 After that, Enoch lived in fellowship with God for 300 years and had other children.
23 He lived to be 365 years old.
24 He spent his life in fellowship with God, and then he disappeared, because God took him away.
25 When Methuselah was 187, he had a son, Lamech,
26 and then lived another 782 years. He had other children
27 and died at the age of 969.
28 When Lamech was 182, he had a son,
29 and said, “From the very ground on which the LORD put a curse, this child will bring us relief from all our hard work”; so he named him Noah.
30 Lamech lived another 595 years. He had other children
31 and died at the age of 777.
32 After Noah was 500 years old, he had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

English translation of an excerpt from a Japanese article: Enigmatic Power

Adam was born several hundred years ago before the Great Flood? The descendants of Adam tell us Adam’s YOB

<snip>
3.1 Symbol representation of the descendants of Adam
Adam’s family tress can be expressed in terms of Child =Son (father, child’s year of birth (YOB), the number of year when father lived after child’s birth) as follows:

Seth= Son (Adam, 130, 800)
Enosh= Son (Seth, 105, 807)
Kenam= Son (Enosh, 90, 815)
Mahalalel =Son (Kenam, 70, 840)
Jared=Son (Mahalalel, 65, 830)
Enoch=Son (Jared, 162, 800)
Methuselah=Son (Enoch, 65, 300)
Lamech=Son (Methuselah, 187, 782)
Noah=Son (Lamech, 182, 595)
Shem, Ham, Japheth=Son (Noah, 500, 350)

3.2 How to compute the year when the Great Blood occurred
And, since the Great Flood occurred when Noah was 600 years old, the year when the flood occurred can be determined by the following formula (1).

Year when the Great Flood occurred
=Adam’s YOB+130+105+ 90+70+65+162+65+187+182+600
=Adam’s YOB+1656   ….. (1)

Adam’s YOB can be calculated in the formula (2) if the Great Flood outbreak year is known.

                Adam’s YOB=Year of occurrence of the Great Flood1656  …..  (2)

The number 1656 in the formula (2) is too small for us modern people to understand.

Zecharia Sitchin’s theory

Sitchin computes 99360 by multiplying 1656 by 60, subtracts the number from 11000 B.C. when the Great Flood occurred and calculates 110360 B.C.In other words, Sitchin thinks that Adam was born 110,360 BC.
