Flash Report: Former Prime Minister Yuko Hatoyama Launches “East Asian Community Research Institute.”   Mr. Ukeru Magosaki Serves as Director.

It has been revealed that former Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama will launch the “East Asian Community Research Institute.”
It seems that the office has made a start.

Mr. Ukeru Magosaki, has become unpaid director of the institute.  According to him, he will start working on April 1.
Mr. Magosaki responded to press inquiry: “We will research about the Futenma issue.  What made Mr. Hatoyama wander back and forth with the Futenma issue?  I am going to actively provide information on it on the blog.”

It is likely that the Institute will provide new information on Japan’s policy just following the U.S. and serve as a policy-research center.
