Scandals Associated with Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda Come Out One after Another
– Phenomenon Indicates Last Days of Administration and Time To Step Down –

Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda is destined to be sacked by an agent for Japan operations working for “Japan Management Committee,” U.S. Embassy in Japan.  He has had scandals associated with him revealed by weekly magazine Shukan Bunshun, an organization which sets up political traps following the instruction of the agent.

In the August 2 issue of Bunshun a scoop has been run “Scoop on demand for resignation of Prime Minister Noda:  The former head of the prime minister’s supporters’ group swindled social security cost of 2.1 billion yen.  This man is not qualified to carry out ‘consumption tax hike’!”  The prime minister got completely beaten.  Every politician the article about whom is written up by Bunshun is bound to lose his political life.
In sum, as a matter of fact, this is said to be the intention of the CIA agent for Japan operations.  Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda has to realize that it is high time for him to step down, taking it seriously that he has been sacked by Washington because he is considered to be useless.  It is the destination of a politician in Japan, a country defeated in war.

This is not the only scandal.  The Asahi Shimbun disclosed the fact in the morning edition dated July 26th that the balance sheet reports on political funds made by his own political fund management organization “Future Club” contained erroneous occupations of not only two donors but additional 14 donors.  Though clerical errors, these are apparently fake statements.  They are nothing to be taken so lightly that making correction of the entry will end the matter.

*This is because in the scandal of “Rikuzankai,” party leader Ichiro Ozawa’s political fund management organization, the same clerical errors were investigated as apparently fake statements by the Tokyo District Prosecutors Office and former three secretaries including former secretary Tomohiro Ishikawa, a member of the House of Representatives, were arrested and pronounced guilty.  And yet, this is not the end of it.  Party leader Ichiro Ozawa was also placed under investigation by the Office but was not indicted by it.  However, the Tokyo No. 5 Committee for the Inquest of Prosecution decided to make the case prosecutable and granted approval for the Office to indict Ozawa.  Though he was found not guilty by the Tokyo District Court, the Office appealed through its designated attorney to the Tokyo High Court and he is still made the accused.

To put it bluntly, this is a “dark peoples” trial but a criminal case prosecutable upon Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda has not yet been built.  This is truly discriminatory treatment.

*There is another scandal associated with Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda.  The prime minister has a younger brother Takehiko Noda, a city councilor of Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, who was found to have received policy research cost from Funabashi City.  The fact is shown by the receipts wrote by two corporations for which the prime minister’s policy secretary serves as a director.  Although he returned to Funabashi City 1,340,129 JPY he illegally received, this is surely a fraud case.

Actually, these scandals coming to light indicate the phenomenon peculiar to the last days of the administration.  In this sense, it is time for him to step down.
