I think that the meeting between President
Putin and Prime Minister Abe has a significant meaning. This is the only commendable
achievement the Abe administration has made. Realization of this meeting proves
that Japan has switch over the foreign policy. As seen in the article,
President Putin and Prime Minister Abe had one-on-one talk. The problem is what
President Putin told him in the meeting.
The meeting seemed to last over three
hours. I can imagine they had an in-depth conversation. As expected, Prime
Minister Abe had originally a great fear of President Putin. Probably he got
the point of absolute fear after the one-on-one talk. Examining the

Japan’s Prime Minister Abe will visit Russia to have a meeting with President
Putin, Kremlin spokesman Dimitry Peskov stated.

At a meeting in Sochi President Putin said that Japan is an important partner for Russia and the two countries have issues in the political
and economic fields that demand certain attention.
“Japan is not just a
neighbor, but a partner, even more so an important partner for us in the
Asia-Pacific Region. In regard to the well-known events
in both the political and trade and economic fields, we do have issued that
demand certain attention. Perhaps in the force of this situation, we need to
pay particular attention to building our relations and maintaining them on a
high level,” President Putin said.
