Cabinet Secretary Suga Shows Condition for Stoppage of Building Base in Henoko
Okinawa residents have
been taking action at the risk of their life on the Henoko beach, Nago City,
Okinawa Prefecture to protect the sea in Henoko.
The Japan Coat Guard has reportedly
threatened the citizens acting on high seas and inflicted violence on them.
In the 2010 Okinawa gubernatorial election,
Mr. Hirokazu Nakaima made a promise to Okinawa residents that he would relocate
the Futenma replacement facility to outside the prefecture or outside the
country.
