reported, citing Japan’s media coverage, that a Japan’s
publisher plans to publish soon a caricature book of Islam and others,
which mainly features caricatures posted by a French
satirical weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo. Some see that the publication
of the book might antagonize Muslims and provoke an extremist organization “Islamic

and it will put the book on sale on February 10. The book is to introduce 43
caricatures including those of Isalm posted by Charlie Hebdo as well as those
of Christianity and Judaism. On January 7, the office of the Charlie Hebdo,
which posted caricatures of Islam, was attacked by a man shouting a slogan of
Islam with 12 people dead. On 20, an extremist organization “Islamic State”
