What is referred to as liberation by Dantes Daiji actually means “enlightenment”! –Even well-known saints just achieved certain level of “enlightenment” and “liberation” is far away from this level of “enlightenment”

A person who says that he has met Dantes Daiji, author of “Process and Techniques of Nirvana (liberation or salvation)” summarized an interesting episode on his blog. In the reference source the blogger tries to exactly describe the impression of Dantes Daiji like he is, without idealizing him. It is very interesting description. Dantes Daiji says: “Liberation has nothing to do with completion of personality.” In yesterday’s article, I explained that after achieving enlightenment, some people become “problem children” because they lose “ego” and their true self (S) comes out. I cited Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh as an example and in the article on May 30. I told the truth that he was actually reincarnated from Shugou hell but he accumulated bad karma due to problematic behaviors after achieving enlightenment and fell into Daikyoukan hell after death.

Read the article below, you will feel that Dantes Daiji is also a “problem child” and quite similar to Rajneesh.

Actually, these two people share similarity with each other in evolutionary level and background. “A certain cult founder” in the article refers to Shoko Asahara of AUM Shinrikyou founder. Everybody admits that Shoko Asahara is a “problem child.”

By the way, many people have a lot of misunderstandings about religion. I’d like to explain some fundamental factshere. The parts described in black bold-faced type are of problem. Dantes Daiji says: “Liberation means being here now.” We can see that what he calls liberation is actually “enlightenment.”

When Kundalini goes up to the Sahasrara chakra on the level of (broadly defined) physical body, the evolutionary level becomes 1.0 and you get “enlightenment” on this level. In most cases, “enlightenment” obtained by sudden awareness in daily life is this level of enlightenment.

Kundalini Yoga is the route along which evolutionary level rises from 1.0 to 2.0. This is true because the evolutionary level of people who claim that they achieve liberation by practicing yoga is 2.0 across the board. Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh finished his life with evolutionary level of 2.3 but his evolutionary level was 2.0 when he achieved “enlightenment.” 

In this way, “enlightenment” can be attained at any evolutionary level by raising Kundalini to Sahasrara chakra. However, it is different from “liberation.”

It is surprising that some people whose evolutionary level is only 2.0 use the word final liberation. First of all, the original meaning of “liberation” is the “state in which there is no need to be born again in physical body.” However, if “enlightenment” is defined in the strict sense, none of well-known saints such as Siddhartha Gautama, Mahavatar Babaji, Shankara, Ramakrishna, Vivekananda and Ramana Maharshi have not attained “liberation.” They have merely achieved a certain level of “enlightenment.” As a matter of fact, “liberation” is far beyond such “enlightenment.”

As far as I know, it is Ramalinga Swamigal who we can say is the greatest saint. He has promoted from the First System to the Second System. Since I have never seen people like him, I think that he has accomplished a great feat. However, even he has not reached “liberation” in the strict sense.

Thus, there is a lot of confusion in religious terms. Therefore, we have to carefully examine in what sense a term is used. Enlightenment achieved by practicing Kundarili Yoga can be achieved in another way. I don’t think that you dare to choose a dangerous way.

Osho (Rajneesh) has attained liberation.However, as he had no guru and achieved enlightenment by himself, he suffered a lot. Krishuna Murti has also attained liberation.But he is said to be “in the same state of mindbody shedding” in Zen Buddhism. Pilot Baba, an Indian spiritual guru, whose guidance a certain Japanese cult founder received, has also attained liberation.I remember a cult founder writing such a thing that “I paid money but he taught me nothing.” I hear that Baba is a slow-tempo person and he never starts teaching so quickly. I think that the cult founder hasted to make an achievement in vain.

“You can attain liberation in three years,” Taiji said to me. But I took a job.

I asked: “Nobody will be born anymore after liberation, right?”

“No, some people are born many times and other leave only the physical body elsewhere.”

They say that Dantes Daiji often went to a disco in the base where U.S. forces stationed and he drank sake and quarreled with U.S. servicemen.  <snip> I once asked Daiji: “Have you really attained liberation? Isn’t it only your imagination?” He answered: “I don’t care what other people think of me. If they think that I am crazy, that’s all right.”

I ask: “Liberation is an escape from this world, isn’t it?”

He answered: “Do you say that I escape from realty? Liberation means being here right now.”

They say that the existence of Dantes Daiji was part of the debate as “problem child” in traditional Zen organization. When somebody visited an old master, who was Daiji’s guru, the master said: “I don’t care if you come. But don’t bring something strange (yoga).” 

And the master also blamed himself by saying: “I wonder why I recognized the *Kensho of that man (Daiji).”
