The U.S. meddles in elections in 47 countries – Interesting news from CNN –
The mainstream media have made a fuss about
Russian intervention in the U.S. presidential election and President Trump is
criticized for his alleged involvement in the intervention every day. I have
never picked up this news because it is nonsense.
Reading the article below, you can see that
the U.S. “has meddled in 81 elections in 47 countries.” If political intervention
and military interventions are added, the U.S. has been involved in unlawful
acts everywhere in the world. And yet, the U.S. will never allow any influence
on the U.S. election. This is nothing but *Gianism.
I think that those who bring such thing
into question must be unexceptionally psychopaths. Interestingly, however, this
news was reported by CNN. I wonder if CNN is changing or they are self-abandoned.
That’s hard to say. We have to wait and see a little more.

<Translator’s Note>*Gianism – It is Japanese
English. One of main characters in a Japanese manga series “Doraemon”, boss of
the kids called Gian, uses the word “Yours is mine and mine is mine.” ‘Gianism”
refers to this Gian’s words and actions.

U.S.
meddles in elections in 47 countries
CNN reported that the
U.S. government meddled in 81 elections in 47 countries from 1946 to 2000.
CNN reported in a program that since the
U.S. have always investigated the Russian influence on the election in the
U.S., there is almost no chance doubt about whether the U.S. never meddles in
the elections of foreign countries will be raised.
A researcher at the
Institute for Politics and Strategy at Carnegie-Mellon University said in an
interview with CNN that the investigation of the U.S.
involvement in meddling in foreign elections from the viewpoint of sociology
shows that the U.S. meddled with 81 elections in 47
countries from 1946 to 2000.
This researcher gave an example of the U.S.
meddling in the 1948 Italian election and said: “The U.S was afraid of a
victory of the Communist party in the election. So the U.S. made every effort
to prevent a Communist party victory.”
Furthermore, according to him, the U.S. has
meddled in the elections of Chile, Argentina, Japan, West Germany, Brazil,
Indonesia, Lebanon, Malaysia and Iran for decades and the U.S. has usually supported
candidates or political parties that go along with the U.S.
He answered that one-third of these
interventions are public and two-third are covert.

Articles posted by PrasTosay have revealed
that the LDP was supported in the elections by the U.S. as expected.

At any rate, the LDP was given money by the
U.S. in the 1950s, Kakuei Tanaka started patronage politics although Japan
became independent, the party carried out political changes and received party subsidy,
and as a result political power was centralized. Consequently, the Abe
administration was born. The LDP is beyond saving.
