  As I already mentioned in my previous comment, when these visions were seen in 2012, World War Ⅲ was still not destined to be avoided without fail, even though there were fair chances that it might well be prevented. The reason was that some elements in close relationship with the Western countries, especially the USA, were engineering the realization of NWO (New World Order), their long-cherished ambition, by breaking up World War Ⅲ at any cost. So it was required that their ambition should be smashed. This is shown in her visions this time.

8. I was standing in front of the United Nations Headquarters building in New York. National flags around the world which stood side by side in front of the building were disappearing one after another in my sight.

― “What does this mean?”, murmured I.

― “The head of the country has now been wiped out.”
                                 
  Looking back, I found a boy, enigmatic in appearance, was standing there.



  “As anticipated in a prior warning, some people in power who did not stop evil doings have been wiped out. These were hierarchs in a position to exert a great influence over the society.”


  As I explained in “Reformation of Heavenly World 27”, 999 out of 1,000 humans on earth were unable to keep their souls in the Sirius System, at this point in time. Their souls were either wiped out or had fallen to the Animal System or even lower. About 100 out of the 999 had their souls extinguished already. They were reduced, as it were, to an existence only provided with a body in physical dimensions. More specifically, they only possessed a physical body and what is called an “ether double”, another body overlapping the physical body. In a vision illustrated in “Reformation of Heavenly World 27”, the ether double was represented by a pneumatic doll.

  Now in this vision, among most heads of state across the globe who still retained their physical bodies and ether doubles with their souls already wiped out, the evil ones got extinguished together with their ether doubles.

  Before I knew it, most flags were gone. And when I noticed again, their number was reduced to ten or less.

  “To be sure, speaking of the heads of state, I don’t think ten persons are too few at all. Usually, I don’t write about a matter like this, but I would like to venture to introduce some of the 10 heads of state who are still alive, with a view to remove numberless people’s misunderstanding. Among them are: President Chavez of Venezuela, President Assad of Syria and President Hu Jintao of China. Wrong images of these people are imprinted by media, so I would rather venture to unveil their name.”
(Serena: Actually, when I saw some flags still there, the national flag of China remained among them. I clearly remember this because it was so impressive, though I did not tell Mr. Takeshita about this. )



  In this exposition written at that time I only described the names of these three figures, so I will add some more. Among them are also the present president of China, Mr. Xi Jinping, the former president of Cuba, Fidel Castro, President Rafael Correa of Ecuador, President José Mujica of Uruguay, and some other persons.
  I believe we can say that these fine persons are the lights on our planet Earth at the present moment.

9. Before I knew it, a girl was standing by my side. She resembled the boy who had made an appearance in #8. We were looking down at the city of New York from a tall tower (building?). Smoke was coming out from buildings everywhere.

― ”What’s that?”
― ”Bourse.”

  I continued on and on, and she gave me a happy answer every time.

― ”Why are they burning?”
― ”Well, I don’t know about that...”
― ”Are you a fairy? Do you live here?”
― ”Yes. This is my city.”



  ”I think she is a little sister of that boy. To be sure, it seems to me they are fairies living in New York. Most likely, their abode is in Central Park. Fairies like them seem to be not less than a hundred thousand in number in New York alone.”
（Serena: While talking to her, I also had a vision of them living in Central Park, though I also didn’t communicate this to Mr. Takeshita.)


  At a due time, fairies like these siblings are destined to be reborn as humans in the next stage of transmigration.

10. “It’s already over with this city where evil desires have been prevailing, arousing such desires of humans and attracting those filled with them. It’s already over. ” A female voice was heard. Then, a goddess appeared, saying:

― “Even more importantly, Serena, please pass my message to Master Takeshita: ‘Please be careful enough: From now on, the society on the earth becomes dangerous. So please take care of your own personal safety. This world will be abnormal for some time. Innocent people will be judged in the courts. Endurance will be required just for a while, yet with sufficient precautions.’”



  “She is a Hotsuma goddess Tatanekomaumiyano-himemiko, the Second Great Emperor of 1st level Solar System. As she says, now we find here and there the symptoms that Japan, too, is getting close to being an abnormal surveillance society, another version of the U.S. society dominated by the “Patriot Act”. Without taking exceptional precautions, we are likely to enter an age where the innocent will be criminalized. However, such is always the trend of the society when it sets toward waging a war, so we will have to endure the political tyranny under such crazy people for some time.”

  The abnormal world she warned us of is nothing but our world after the Secret Information Protection Act (“Act on the Protection of Specially Designated Secrets”) is enacted by Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party. In case such a law (the Heisei version of the notorious “Maintenance of Public Order Act” enacted in 1900) is passed without Japanese citizens realizing the danger, the national politics will be dominated by a state autocracy. The threat of this law is best described by the article “To Plug Japanese Citizens’ Eyes, Ears, Mouths: This Is the Bill for Secret Information Protection Act” published on the Newspaper Akahata (Red Flag) issued by the Japanese Communist Party. They have summarized the point quite tactfully, so please be sure to take a look at it.
  This law is dangerous because it is clearly a preparation for free passage to wars on China in the future. The behavior of Abe’s regime perfectly conforms to the intention of the “Japan Handlers” (the Bush/Nazis camp) ― whose scenario of Japan and China war is evident if you read the Joseph Neigh’s report, etc. With such a bad law enacted under the current situation, the world must become abnormal as described in the goddess’ warning.
　Fortunately, however, now that the Japan Handlers have changed sides to the Nathaniel camp, the scenario of breaking up a war on China and then World War Ⅲ has also been eliminated. As I have written in Shanti Phula's Blog on Current News, it is now expected that the Japanese government itself will enter the Nathaniel camp from November 1 onward, parting ways with Obama’s regime. Accordingly, such a pro-war legislation won’t make sense any longer. A bad law like this should be given up before long, but even if it is enacted, it won’t threaten the lives of Japanese citizens. For it must be that if Prime Minister Abe engineered any war based on what would be his personal ideal, his regime would be smashed by the Japan Handlers, or else he himself would be executed by gods.
  As it turned out, what the goddess in this vision suggested with her appropriate advice was staved off eventually.

  At the stage of the year 2012, there was no prospect that World War III would be avoided without fail; however, there were actually fair chances that it might well be prevented.

  On the other hand, when we talk about the crisis of the planet Earth, the risk factors include not just such a war, but also various other problems. For example, we need to remove nuclear weaponry and nuclear plants without delay, to cope with the vicissitudes such as earth quakes, volcanic eruptions, or ultimately with the pole shift of Earth. Moreover, the risk factors extend from these threats to some elements in our daily life. All of them should be eliminated one by one in order of importance.

  However, the most serious threat is the presence of the Dark Ones who aim to reduce the population on Earth. They are bent on purposely deteriorating the health of humanity by use of these factors. Without smashing them up first, coping with the above factors is impossible. So the most importantly, we need to recognize what’s happening all around the globe today, looking the facts in the face.

  As is written here, we have to be careful enough about foods. They should be cooked with the use of iron frying pans or ovens, instead of electronic ovens, Teflon-coated frying pans, aluminum pots, electromagnetic cookers, etc. Food additives should be avoided as best we can. In our time, eggs hardly go rotten; however, nobody believes such a food, resistant to decay, is safe. In addition, we are obliged to take heed to radioactivity.

  So, it has become quite hard to protect the health of our children, as well as of ourselves. In my sense, the ‘safe’ school food service is utterly unconceivable. It is the food safety that is first sacrificed in consideration of the service cost reduction. Since the time I was fed with school meals, use has been made of poor-quality foods, such as milk that is immediately before disposal and unable to be put on sale. Our present social structure is such that people in the weakest position are put at a disadvantage. However, children must not be sacrificed. Moreover, you will find the harm done by electromagnetic radiation is too serious not to consider the risk of smartphones and game machines, ― instead of carelessly giving them to our children.

  I was flying in the midair as if floating above Earth. Below my sight was Earth rotating slowly. When I glanced over the geosphere, various human voices were heard. I heard cries such as:

 ― ”Please stop!”
 ― ”Don’t shoot!”
 ― ”Help this child!”
 ― ”Don’t take my husband away!”

Or prayers, such as:

 ― ”Give me food.”
 ― ”Give me water.”
 ― ”Give me medicine.”
 ― ”Stop the war, please.”

  I also paid attention to males’ voices:

 ― ”Give me a job.”
 ― ”Give me money to get milk for my children.”
 ― ”Don’t drive me out of my place.”
 ― ”Please, give my wife medical care.” And also a heartbreaking distress
 ― “Kill me, anybody! Eliminate me at once!”

  I set myself to listen to children’s voices, too:

 ― ”Don’t take Daddy away!”
 ― ”Please, ease Mom’s trouble.”
 ― ”Let me go to school.”
 ― ”I don’t want to sell my body.”
 ― ”I don’t want to steal any more.”
 ― ”I don’t want to work.”

These were young children’s sad wishes.

  Next were heard outcries such as:

 ― “Why in the hell has the world changed into a state of despair like this!?”
 ― ”There are no such things as gods!”
 ― ”If God existed, He could not have let these doings take place!”

  ”Saying a prayer to gods is very important. However, people are wrong if they direct their anger or damnation to gods. Their anger should be directed to politicians and themselves: The disorder created by humans should be recovered by humans themselves.”

  Then, focusing my consciousness on Earth, I set myself to listen to her voice:

― ”I am filled with sadness all over. Many kick the ground, hit it with fists, moan, hate, and seek for help.”

I: “Isn’t it hard on you?”

Earth: “Hard? I’ve been undergoing this since when humans were born. I don’t take it as hard, only I feel sad for it.”

I: “We humans have excavated your surface everywhere, have contaminated the oceans and the atmosphere, and have cut down the precious woods, devastating your body. Don’t you have any anger for that?”

Earth: “No, I don’t, ― because I exist for giving. I give things necessary; that’s my happiness.”

I: “How gentle you are!”

Earth: “The joy of giving is greater than that of being given. Humans are also my precious family. A parent who patiently waits for her children to grow never gets angry.”

I: “However, the Earth has as its function an auto-purification. This may involve the life and death of humans and other creatures.”

Earth: “That is caused by irresistible forces. In fact, my body couldn’t be maintained without taking the balance. However, humans can be reborn just like other creatures. So the auto-purification doesn’t take place due to anger.”

I: “What do you expect from humans?”

Earth: “Leave your sorrow. And live a life filled with happiness! I have a lot with me, prepared to fit your needs.”

I thanked her, and left there.

  “I think anybody should be able to tell whether or not Earth is a living existence. All living beings have consciousness. Actually, it is possible for a person like Serena to communicate directly with Earth, in a manner like this.

The Hopis worship the earth as Mother Earth. They continued to issue the warning that uranium below ground must not be mined. However, this warning sent from God was violated. In my view, if humans on Earth had been well aware that everything has consciousness and life, their warning would have been accepted with no protest.”


  As soon as I took a look at this correspondence, I reached the conviction that the grief of Earth was already close to the limit of endurance. However, while I felt sorry for her, I had no other choice but to ask her to endure a little longer. For, at that time, there were various thorny problems of high priority on Earth; among others, the task of avoiding WWⅢ had to be prioritized at any cost.

  Yet, as I commented, I thought if people knew, as a natural fact, that Earth had life and consciousness, therefore a spirit, their way of living itself might well be changed in some degree. My idea like this finally crystallized into Seiko Nakanishi’s illustrations “Planet Series”. In my feeling, these illustrations have a great significance. It may be possible for Hotsuma deities, divine spirits and space people to communicate with these astro-deities and listen to their voices. However, even among them, there are none who have ever caught them in sight.

  Ms. Nakanishi’s illustrations are very well drawn. They exactly look like these goddesses to the point of being their portraits. Though I have unfortunately never seen any deity except Takakihikarino-himemiko (Sun), at the level accompanied by physical consciousness, she exactly looked like Ms. Nakanishi’s illustration.

  It may be that the present humanity can communicate with astro-deities like her by using their technology. I feel like technologies such as HAARP have a potentiality for that. Eventually, the day may come when people will get convinced that these astro-deities do exist.

Greek Prime Minister Tsipras’s words and actions tell that apparently he is threatened. However, I don’t think that he is such a person that yields to threat. Greece is in the situation where it can hardly be expected that Greek will follow the agreement and the crisis will be settled. According to this report, “The revolution may have started in Greece, the cradle of democracy.” I want this revolution to spread to the U.S. and Japan.
However, before this sort happened, in Greece TV station employees had participated in demonstrations and no TV programs were broadcast. In Japan such events have not occurred. When I think of the national character of Japanese, I feel that revolutions can hardly occur unless economic collapse occurs and it blows all pensions.
At the end of the article, it is written that “Washington DC regime is hacking into computers and planting kiddie porn.” In other words, the government can fraudulently arrest people inconvenient to it. The mean regime does not hesitate to do anything to achieve its ambition. However, citizens have to fight by legal means. This is why it is difficult to topple the rotten regime.
However, those who got involved in such injustice will be punished one after another by deities and aliens. In the case of a minor misdemeanor, people get demotivated at work or get depressed. However, people develop dementia if they get worse. If they never stop doing wrong, they become vegetables or are possibly executed in some cases.
As you see major cabinet ministers in the Abe administration, many of them cannot speak properly. They originally have no brains and furthermore, they have already been punished at this level.

The Greek default has triggered major cyber and information warfare that raged across the world last week. The Khazarian controllers of the Federal Reserve Board, angered by the BRICS bank, were the instigators of the attack on the Chinese stock markets, pentagon sources say. This burst a bubble, leading to a 40% decline in Chinese stocks before the government intervened and suspended most stock trading. The Chinese counter-attack shut down the New York Stock Exchange etc. This was then, according to pentagon sources, followed by weather warfare as a major typhoon was sent crashing directly into Shanghai, forcing the evacuation of a million people.

The Pentagon summoned Khazarian house slave acting-president Obama on Monday to tell him they have just upped upgraded their military relations with Vietnam “to a strategic level.” In other words, the Vietnamese will work with the Americans to hold back the Chinese. Despite rhetoric against Russia, the Pentagon is already working with the Russians to make sure China keeps in line, the sources said. Obama was told in no uncertain terms that he was to stop “poking the bear” and to concentrate on the main enemy, which is the Khazarian mafia, and the potential enemy, which is China.

However, it is the hacking of the Israeli systems that left that country completely exposed to Iranian and other missiles. The message is very clear: “stop your regional trouble-making or else be destroyed.”

Long term foreign minister Saud Al Faisal, his brother Tikri, Intelligence Chief Bandar Bush and many more are being cut as that frantic regime tries to change its stripes in order to survive. They are trying desperately to prevent a complete American alignment with Iran that would leave them without any real protector in the Middle East. In other words, they fear bloody revolution which is why so many Saudi princes have already abandoned that country. The Saudis and other Gulf monarchies have been buying and stashing away all the silver they can get their hands on so that they can keep some of their fortunes in the event of a regime change and subsequent freeze of their bank accounts.

This group has shown that Goldman Sachs and other banks fraudulently inflated Greek government debt numbers by doing such things as creating fake losses by hospitals. The fraudulent Greek debt is now being used as a tool to loot real Greek assets like islands, ports, utilities etc. According to British MI5 intelligence, former Goldman Sachs employee and now European Central Bank Governor Mario Draghi was the mastermind behind this Greek looting plan.

According to the article, the military strategy document released by Pentagon says that countries such as Russia and China that pursue policies independently of Washington’s policies are considered to be revisionist states and they should be conquered.
According to the article, “it is a bullshit report written by neocons in order to foment war with Russia.” Seeing the current action of Pentagon, I feel that the force represented by Ashton Carter has no intention of giving over hegemony to Russia and China.
Seeing the situation Japan is in, the Abe administration is moving under significant pressure from the Pentagon. Nothing is more embarrassing than for Japan to be involved into their tug of war.
As of 21 hours yesterday, the leadership of such force was punished. It means their chakras are destroyed. Unless they repent their deed, additional punishment is carried out. There are many wicked people in the Bush/Nazi camp who have already died or have become vegetables. From now on, the same thing can happen to those who have had a relatively cooperative relationship with the Nathaniel camp.

The document announces a shift in focus from terrorists to “state actors” that “are challenging international norms.” It is important to understand what these words mean. Governments that challenge international norms are sovereign countries that pursue policies independently of Washington’s policies. These “revisionist states” are threats, not because they plan to attack the US, which the Pentagon admits neither Russia nor China intend, but because they are independent. In other words, the norm is dependence on Washington.

Be sure to grasp the point: The threat is the existence of sovereign states, whose independence of action makes them “revisionist states.” In other words, their independence is out of step with the neoconservative Uni-power doctrine that declares independence to be the right of Washington alone. Washington’s History-given hegemony precludes any other country being independent in its actions.
The Pentagon’s report defines the foremost “revisionist states” as Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran. The focus is primarily on Russia. Washington hopes to co-op China, despite the “tension to the Asia-Pacific region” that China’s defense of its sphere of influence, a defense “inconsistent with international law” (this from Washington, the great violator of international law), by turning over what remains of the American consumer market to China. It is not yet certain that Iran has escaped the fate that Washington imposed on Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan, Ukraine, and by complicity Palestine.

The Pentagon report is sufficiently audacious in its hypocrisy, as all statements from Washington are, to declare that Washington and its vassals “support the established institutions and processes dedicated to preventing conflict, respecting sovereignty, and furthering human rights.” This from the military of a government that has invaded, bombed, and overthrown 11 governments since the Clinton regime and is currently working to overthrow governments in Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil, and Argentina.

In the Pentagon document, Russia is under fire for not acting “in accordance with international norms,” which means Russia is not following Washington’s leadership.

In other words, this is a bullshit report written by neocons in order to foment war with Russia.
Nothing else can be said about the Pentagon report, which justifies war and more war. Without war and conquests, Americans are not safe.

Washington’s view toward Russia is the same as Cato the Elder’s view toward Carthage. Cato the Elder finished his every speech on any subject in the Roman Senate with the statement “Carthage must be destroyed.”

This report tells us that war with Russia is our future unless Russia agrees to become a vassal state like every country in Europe, and Canada, Australia, Ukraine, and Japan. Otherwise, the neoconservatives have decided that it is impossible for Americans to tolerate living with a country that makes decisions independently of Washington. If American cannot be The Uni-Power dictating to the world, better that we are all dead. At least that will show the Russians.

*According to “CyberBerkt,” the video whose value cannot be overestimated was found from a flash drive, which Senator McCain’s colleague had brought when visiting Ukraine. The hackers have not identified the name of the person.

A representative of “KiberBert” adds: **“Dear Senator McCain! We recommend you next time in foreign trips, especially for territory of Ukraine, not to take confidential documents.”

Armed militant terrorist group “IS” is considered to be one of major threats in global security. Militants have executed many innocent people including Japanese.

Reading the first article, it was exactly what I thought it would be. The U.S. has started accusing Russia over hacking. The second article is about computer troubles in the stock exchange, which was predicted to occur before. According to the article, “the shutdown was attributable to an internal computer malfunction and was not the result of an outside cyberattack.” However, Hillary Clinton’s remarks implicitly show that Russia is responsible for a series of troubles.
I have always told that such situation will be created and it will lead to a pre-emptive attack against Russia. Considering that terrorist attacks predicted to occur on July 4, Independence Day have been avoided, their plan probably has no chance of succeeding.
As Mr. Fulford points out, however, the evil are fiercely resisting because they have nowhere to go while a new financial system has been built, and as the result various events are happening in the world. I suppose that ongoing confusion in Chinese stock market and a typhoon moving toward China are some of them.

US presidential candidate Hilary Clinton accused Russia of sponsoring hacking against the United Staes. Press spokesman for the President of Russia Peskov said that the accusation was unfounded and inappropriate at a press conference in Kremlin.

Ms. Hillary Clinton gave a speech in front of voters in Iowa Sate. She said that Russia was one of counties sponsoring hacking directly or indirectly against the United States like China, Iran and North Korea.

Kremlin spokesman Peskov said: “This is an absolutely inappropriate statement and an unfounded accusation. Hacking is an international problem and speaking of government sponsorship is a completely unfounded accusation.”

Spokesman Peskov said that such comments did not contribute to achievement of expanded mutual relationship in the fight against cybercrime. “Without mutual cooperation carried out among nations, such accusations are made. Such approach is far from constructive,” he pointed out.

Without announcement, all trading ceased on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange as of 11:32am on Wednesday. 
While off-floor trading is still occurring, every listing on the NYSE board is currently showing “HALT” and/or “No Quotation.” 
The NYSE has released a statement stating that trading has halted due to a technology issue and that they are working to restore trading as quickly as possible. 
With no known relationship, the Wall Street Journal’s online site has also become unavailable during the same period displaying an odd 504 error instead of the usual 404 – not found.

According to the Washington Times, they are working hurriedly to resolve the issue! The NYSE issued a new statement saying the shutdown was attributable to an “internal” computer malfunction and was not the result of an outside cyberattack. But are they telling us the truth? Will this have any impact on the economy and the coming collapse?

The two-hour long issue caused delays to more than 90 of its aircrafts, according to the FlightAware website.
Shares in the firm fell more than 1.5% in morning’s trade.

As I have commented, in proper economic system, it is not necessary to “lend money at interest.” The financial system backed by gold stabilizes economy, but it will not cause a drastic change unless the central bank is nationalized and is opened to the public.
I think that normally, the system has to be backed by GDP, not by gold. The central bank can issue paper money based on the GDP.
Seen in this light, “establishment of the future planning agency” proposed by Mr. Fulford will become the next stage of shift to fundamental financial system.

The fact that 61% of Greek citizens voted to refuse to pay for banker’s reckless mistakes indicates a majority of the people at the street level in that country now recognize the criminal nature of the Western banking system. This has set in motion the first domino that will lead inexorably to the bankruptcy of the Khazarian banking system and their criminal subsidiary known as the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CORPORATION. A Greek default, as mentioned previously, is just the first domino that will be followed by Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Italy, France, Germany and then the United States.
The world’s major creditor nations like China and other Asian countries refuse to lend more money to the IMF.…. The Washington DC cabal cannot bail out the IMF or the European Central Bank because they themselves are bankrupt as can be seen by the fact they are cooking their books.

Furthermore, other dominos have also begun to fall. Furthermore, the AMERICA Puerto Rico colony, known by many as the 51st US State, has also publicly said it will not be able to pay its debts.

The new element to this is that the contagion has now spread to China, the largest creditor of the bankrupt AMERICA and thus the country that will be left holding the bag. Chinese stock markets plunged by 30% in the last weeks, driven by retail investor selling.

The Chinese communist government also tried to get funds last week when it sent representatives of the Manchu imperial family to the headquarters of the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi-UFJ, in an attempt to cash genuine historical bonds worth trillions of dollars, according to a Chinese government official. At the end, despite the fact the bonds were genuine, the Chinese and Manchus were sent away empty handed because recognizing the bonds would have bankrupted the Japanese government and Japanese financial system.

The Russians and Americans also failed last week in efforts to cash historical financial instruments because again, the old financial system simply is unable to pay genuine debts they have incurred over the years, according to Pentagon sources.

That is why the first ever bankruptcy of a European country in the post-war era has added new urgency to ongoing negotiations on a new financial system, according to people involved in the negotiations.

In key negotiations aimed at setting up an alternative financial system, representatives of the White Dragon Society formally sent a proposal to Japanese Imperial Family and Japanese government calling for the establishment of a $7 trillion fund to finance the creation of a future planning agency. Japanese imperial family and government officials approved the plan in principle but requested a more detailed, written proposal.

The proposal calls for a Japanese government delegation to visit the UK, the US, EU headquarters, the Vatican, Moscow, the African Union, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other power centers to get formal support for the future planning agency (informal support has already been given).

The future planning agency would be very different from the World Bank and IMF or even from the just starting up BRICS bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in that it will have a budget 70 times larger, enough to annually provide $1000 worth of goods and services to each man, woman and child on the planet. Furthermore, while the BRICS bank and AIIB help isolate the Washington faction of the cabal, they still operate on the Babylonian debt slavery model. In other words, they lend money at interest and expect to get paid back or else they will come and seize collateral. The planning agency will operate on credit, and will not require repayment, only verification that funds are used as intended and promised. New funds will be withheld from corrupt and incompetent groups who will then wither on the vine.

Of course, doing this would put an end to the Khazarian mafia’s near monopoly control over the creation of fiat money and thus end their Babylonian debt slavery regime.

Reading this article, you will see that the Greek people are victims and they do not have to assume responsibility for debts.
What is important is to refuse payment, put bankers involved in crime into prion, change over from austerity budget to former Japanese-style of state-controlled economy and finally nationalize the central bank.
Although it is theoretically easy to reactivate the economy it is actually difficult, because it is necessary to legally remove those with power who hold fast to vested interests. There is very valuable advice in the article. It says: “these presidents are in very, very vulnerable positions, and ultimately we the people have to stand up, because leaders can only do a certain amount.” Democracy cannot exist if you leave it to other people.

John Perkins is no stranger to making confessions. His well-known book, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, revealed how international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, while publicly professing to "save" suffering countries and economies, instead pull a bait-and-switch on their governments: …..
That's where the "economic hit men" come in: seemingly ordinary men, with ordinary backgrounds, who travel to these countries and impose the harsh austerity policies prescribed by the IMF and World Bank as "solutions" to the economic hardship they are now experiencing. Men like Perkins were trained to squeeze every last drop of wealth and resources from these sputtering economies, and continue to do so to this day.
Michael Nevradakis: In your book, you write about how you were, for many years, a so-called "economic hit man." Who are these economic hit men, and what do they do?
John Perkins: Essentially, my job was to identify countries that had resources that our corporations want, and that could be things like oil - or it could be markets - it could be transportation systems. There're so many different things. Once we identified these countries, we arranged huge loans to them, but the money would never actually go to the countries; instead it would go to our own corporations to build infrastructure projects in those countries, things like power plants and highways that benefitted a few wealthy people as well as our own corporations, but not the majority of people who couldn't afford to buy into these things, and yet they were left holding a huge debt, very much like what Greece has today, a phenomenal debt.
And once [they were] bound by that debt, we would go back, usually in the form of the IMF - and in the case of Greece today, it's the IMF and the EU [European Union] - and make tremendous demands on the country: increase taxes, cut back on spending, sell public sector utilities to private companies, things like power companies and water systems, transportation systems, privatize those, and basically become a slave to us, to the corporations, to the IMF, in your case to the EU, and basically, organizations like the World Bank, the IMF, the EU, are tools of the big corporations, what I call the "corporatocracy."
….. these investments were made in things like electric energy systems that the economy would grow at phenomenally high rates. The fact of the matter is, when you invest in these big infrastructure projects, you do see economic growth, however, most of that growth reflects the wealthy getting wealthier and wealthier;…..


What happens once these countries that are targeted are indebted?
By insisting that the countries adopt policies that will sell their publicly owned utility companies, water and sewage systems, maybe schools, transportation systems, even jails, to the big corporations. Privatize, privatize. Allow us to build military bases on their soil. Many things can be done, but basically, they become servants to what I call the corporatocracy. …..  It's a corporate empire, and the big corporations rule. They control the politics of the United States, and to a large degree they control a great deal of the policies of countries like China, around the world.
I've been following Greece for a long time. I was on Greek television. A Greek film company did a documentary called "Apology of an Economic Hit Man," and I also spent a lot of time in Iceland and in Ireland. I was invited to Iceland to help encourage the people there to vote on a referendum not to repay their debts, and I did that and encouraged them not to, and they did vote no, and as a result, Iceland is doing quite well now economically compared to the rest of Europe.
In the case of Greece, my reaction was that "Greece is being hit." There's no question about it. Sure, Greece made mistakes, your leaders made some mistakes, but the people didn't really make the mistakes, and now the people are being asked to pay for the mistakes made by their leaders, often in cahoots with the big banks. So, people make tremendous amounts of money off of these so-called "mistakes," and now, the people who didn't make the mistakes are being asked to pay the price. That's consistent around the world: We've seen it in Latin America. We've seen it in Asia. We've seen it in so many places around the world.
This leads directly to the next question I had: … there's this sentiment in Greece that many people have that the country failed, that the people failed . . .
Sure, that's part of the game: convince people that they're wrong, that they're inferior. The corporatocracy is incredibly good at that,  …..  And in this case, all of this energy has been directed at the Greek people to say "you're lazy; you didn't do the right thing; you didn't follow the right policies," when in actuality, an awful lot of the blame needs to be laid on the financial community that encouraged Greece to go down this route.
We also have to understand that,  … Globally, the middle class has been in decline. Big business needs to recognize - it hasn't yet, but it needs to recognize - that that serves nobody's long-term interest, that the middle class is the market. And if the middle class continues to be in decline, whether it's in Greece or the United States or globally, ultimately businesses will pay the price; they won't have customers. Henry Ford once said: "I want to pay all my workers enough money so they can go out and buy Ford cars." That's a very good policy. That's wise. This austerity program moves in the opposite direction and it's a foolish policy.

How did the people of Ecuador and other countries that found themselves in similar situations eventually resist?
Ecuador elected a pretty remarkable president, Rafael Correa, who has a PhD in economics from a United States university. He understands the system, and he understood that Ecuador took on these debts back when I was an economic hit man and the country was ruled by a military junta that was under the control of the CIA and the US. That junta took on these huge debts, put Ecuador in deep debt; the people didn't agree to that. When Rafael Correa was democratically elected, he immediately said, "We're not paying these debts; the people did not take on these debts; maybe the IMF should pay the debts and maybe the junta, which of course was long gone - moved to Miami or someplace - should pay the debts, maybe John Perkins and the other economic hit men should pay the debts, but the people shouldn't."
And since then, he's been renegotiating and bringing the debts way down and saying, "We might be willing to pay some of them." That was a very smart move; . . . he, like so many presidents, has to be aware that if you stand up too strongly against the system, if the economic hit men are not happy, if they don't get their way, then the jackals will come in and assassinate you or overthrow you in a coup.
We have to realize that these presidents are in very, very vulnerable positions, and ultimately we the people have to stand up, because leaders can only do a certain amount. Today, in many places, leaders are not just vulnerable; it doesn't take a bullet to bring down a leader anymore. A scandal - a sex scandal, a drug scandal - can bring down a leader. These leaders are very aware that they are in very vulnerable positions: … They're aware of that, and it behooves we the people to really stand up for our own rights.
You mentioned the recent example of Iceland . . . other than the referendum that was held, what other measures did the country adopt to get out of this spiral of austerity and to return to growth and to a much more positive outlook for the country?
It's been investing money in programs that put people back to work and it's also been putting on trial some of the bankers that caused the problems, which has been a big uplift in terms of morale for the people. … So, the important thing for an economy is to get the employment up and get disposable income back up, so that people will invest in their country and in goods and services.
In closing, what message would you like to share with the people of Greece, as they continue to experience and to live through the very harsh results of the austerity policies that have been implemented in the country for the past three years?
I want to draw upon Greece's history. You're a proud, strong country, a country of warriors. The mythology of the warrior to some degree comes out of Greece, and so does democracy! … I would encourage the people of Greece to stand up: Don't pay off those debts; …
And so, I would encourage the Greek people to continue to do this. Don't accept this criticism that it's your fault, you're to blame, you've got to suffer austerity, austerity, austerity. That only works for the rich people; it does not work for the average person or the middle class. Build up that middle class; bring employment back; bring disposable income back to the average citizen of Greece. Fight for that; make it happen; stand up for your rights; respect your history as fighters and leaders in democracy, and show the world!

A: “I think that probably, such large-scale violent waves as seen when military cooperation with the U.S. was renewed in the 1960s will not be caused. Japan has no movement against war. Of course, there can be individual demonstrations. However, you will not see any large-scale campaigns against the use of the right covering the whole of Japan, I think.”

Q: Does it mean that Japan will make a directional change to strengthen nationalism and militarism?


A: “This is inevitable. Considering that particularly, China has persistent policies and Russia and China have started building an actual strategic alliance in politics and economy, though not military, it is inevitable. Japan still has a lot of problems at home. As always, nationalistic slogan would be aggressively used to mobilize the people. However, there is an alternative, of course and it is to develop warm relations with its neighbors of China and Russia. This would cut off the momentum of anti-Japanese tide of China and Russia, if there is.”
