Reportedly, a medical drama “Emergency Department Doctors” broadcast in China in 2017 has been become a hot topic of conversation because it “predicted the current situation of the spread of new coronavirus infectious pneumonia outbreak.” Judging from this, we can safely say that “a new coronavirus” is a biological weapon.

According to the first tweet by Mr. Jun Sakura, the “Chinese government has admitted that the outbreak of the virus from a P4 laboratory.” According to a Google translation of the link, however, the “Chinese Communist Party (CCP) told Milles Guo that the party admitted an ‘accidental’ leak of lab-created virus from a P4 lab in Wuhan to put blames on ‘human errors’” although the Chinese government has not officially admitted it.

A joint research team of Shanghai Institute of Material Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Tech University said that “they discovered 30 kinds of drugs effective for the treatment of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus.”

How too well-prepared they are! The Geneva University hospital succeeded in development of reagent kit to detect the novel coronavirus.

And the “Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation”, the philanthropic foundation created by Microsoft’s founder and billionaire Bill Gates and his wife Melinda, “announced to contribute $10 million for the fight to prevent the spread of the virus.” The key player has finally appeared, hasn’t it?

It would be difficult to give a definition of consciousness. It would be as difficult as or more difficult than to give a definition of body and mind. I have my wife cut my hair and I have never been to a barber for more than 25 years. Every time when I see the hair on the floor, I think “it was my hair a short time ago.”

I used to work for a preparatory school. There was a grumpy clerical staff. She always gave an unpleasant reaction to students. On December 9, 2019, the Washington Post published the U.S. government documents called “Afghanistan Papers.” The documents have more than 2,000 pages and include the interviews of more than 600 people.

If the contents of the documents were revealed, the government would have to be accountable for misleading people into believing “as if the U.S. had succeeded in military operation in Afghanistan and covering it up for many years.” They say that those involved include former President Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Vice President Joe Biden.

There is a presumption that “a dog can recognize when his owner is coming home by the noise of the car he always uses or the sound of his footsteps.” To confirm it, I came home first by my car I always uses and secondly by a complete stranger’s car.

When I returned home by my car, my dog seemed to recognize me and started to happily bark before I came home. And when I came home by a completely different car, my dog showed his happy reaction before I came home. That’s a mystery!

According to the journal “Animal Cognition” in which the research was published, it was found that when their owners feel happy and refreshed, dogs are happy and curious, and are obedient to strangers, too.

However, when their owners feel fear, dogs perceive human body odors chemosignals by sense of smell, snuggle up to their owners as if to protect them or to avoid contact with other humans. It turned out that at this time, dogs feel as scared as humans do.

Octopus’ way of life seen from “heroic childrearing” -- Is humanity really lord of creation?
The octopus makes “once-in-lifetime sex” and after that, a male octopus runs out of energy and a female octopus starts “heroic childrearing.” The mother octopus does not hunt for food. She keeps on brooding eggs, sprays water to replace the stagnant water around the eggs with fresh water, and continues to shower love with the eggs.  After seeing her eggs hatch, the mother octopus runs out of energy and dies. I have seen such mother octopus on TV in my childhood.

After getting to know the fact on octopus’ way of life, it is doubtful “whether humanity is really lord of creation.” I have never thought so. I am not sure whether it is because of my experience of seeing the image of such “heroic childrearing of the octopus” in my childhood.

I admit that humanity is more advanced than other animals. But it does not mean that humanity is superior to other animals. Needless to say, humanity cannot be valuable being.

I make a value judgement about a person based not on bloodline, property, titles including academic background, talent or appearance but on “pure heart.” The former can be compared, but the latter is incomparable. If you ask dog’s or cat’s lovers about “which do you think are more pure-hearted, dogs and cats or humans?” It seems to me that almost 100 percent of people would answer “dogs and cats are overwhelmingly far purer than humans.”

Why? Probably, a pet loved as a family member is an object of “unconditional love” for its owner. Their “existence itself is valuable” for their owners. However, humans are different from them. Humans have to be more competent.

It means that for most people, humans are not object of love but object to be used; in other words, human society “is ignorant of love.” 

Why do humans need to be competent? That’s to have a “better life.” Humans sacrifice “love” for a “better life.” Isn’t it the opposite? Don’t you think that you can have a much happier life instead of sacrificing a “better life” for “love”?

Please love and bring up your children in the same way as your pets “whose existence is valuable for you.” I believe that children who are brought up with affluent affection will probably grow “like angels with beautiful heart.”

I think that everybody is impressed by the great achievement of Dr. Tetsu Nakamura but some people may envy his life. I made a comment on yesterday’s article as follows: “The real reason ‘why time goes by fast as we get older’ is that people live out of habit.” I hear that everybody says “I wanted to live in a way that is more true to myself” as a word of regret at the last minute before death.

I have no regret in my life because I think I am “the happiest man in the universe.” Of course, there are a number of happiest people in the universe. When I met my wife, I had no job and no savings. Additionally I had debt of scholarship payment. However, my wife got married to me. She has no regret about a difficult life she had with me.

If we could give advice about “life without regret,” all we can say is that “marriage determines almost everything in life.” When I met my wife for the first time, I thought “If I can marry her, I am sure I’ll be happy.” Therefore, I thought that I was going to be single forever if not. Why did I think so? That’s because I felt assured that our marriage was sure thing. As I believed, I met her three years later and we immediately decided to get married.

Everything in our life goes something like this. We regret nothing because we have led a life with conviction that “there was no other life.” That’s because we believe that what is the most important in life is “first husband and wife and secondly family.” Our belief has never been shaken.

If you realize like us that the “heartwarming bondage in a small world” is really everything in a happy life, all you have to do is just to surrender everything to God. “Marital love” is superior to “total surrender to God.”

I’m not a religious person, but everybody always reads the Bible in the meeting room of Qarmy. All are religious. If I consult my senior about something, she just says: “Pray. Or you can ask him to pray for you.” Everybody trusts the power of prayer more than anything else. It sounds silly, but this seems to be a fight between light and darkness.

“The huma eyeballs repeat fixation in which the movement of eyes stops and saccades in which eyes move at high speed of (100-500 times /second) in a short time (20-80 milliseconds) to get visual information.” In the state of fixation, however, both eyes actually move slightly. Such eyeball movement is called “involuntary eye movement during fixation or flicks.”

Interestingly, it is said that “a visual image does not disappear thanks to this flick” and when a statistic image is created on the retina, the visual image disappears. I suppose that those who attain samadhi and can immediately put themselves into altered state of consciousness will probably be able not to cause “involuntary eye movement” by fixing their eyes on one point.


When I was a student, I had a part-time job, in which I had to stay overnight, in Yamaguchi Prefecture. After finishing my work, I went to a coffee shop to drink a cup of coffee.  I had the cup with my left hand, put my right hand under the cup and closed my eyes. I must have been tired. I saw a small spot of light and looked at it for a while. At that time I was clearly conscious and stared at it. However, when I came back to myself, I realized that the world around me had completely disappeared.

I was surprised to see the clock in the coffee shop. I thought that I had looked at the “spot of light” for just a few minutes but actually I had looked at it for 50 minutes. And besides, I didn’t move at all, holding the cup with my two hands. I was the only customer at that time. The two female employees seemed to look at such a bizarre event. I still remember the two women gaze at me as if I were a monster.

When eyeballs are completely fixed, time stops inside a person. Although the person felt only a few minutes go by, it happens that actually many hours or many years have passed. As for the 50 minutes I experienced at the coffee shop, I became detached from the real world and a “spot of light” was the only memory I had. When we have few experiences and memories in the real world, it might be said that “time goes by quickly.” 

Therefore, if you live by trying “to make the whole body ears,” time would go by slowly. In a word, the real reason why “time seems to speed up as we get older” is that people live out of habit. Try to live, seriously thinking “I have only three years to live.” Time will start to go by slowly like in childhood.

The text in the article below explains Kitaro Nishida’s self-identity of absolute contradiction in an easy-to-understand way. The article has an interesting view that in our world the present exists as a total of events in the past. This view is familiar to modern people and classical physics tries to clarify the world based on this viewpoint.

However, when we act in daily life, I suppose that we determine our current behavior based on a future plan or vision, namely by back calculation thinking in which we think what is necessary to realize this plan.

In short, those who lead a creative life should use this reverse thinking on a daily basis. 

Humanity is a small creator. If we want to design the future creatively, we might feel that this reverse thinking is indispensable and the worldview of classical physics is abnormal. As a matter of fact, it is natural to think that the world is made up of both the worldview of classical physics and this reverse thinking.

I think that this worldview X is understandable physically but he says “it does not work when human beings act with intentions or purposes.” 

Then, what is the worldview not X as antithesis of worldview X? It is the worldview that “the present is determined by the future”and “the present is determined by thinking backward from the purpose of future.”

As I have found the Kitaro Nishida’s “Absolutely Contradictory Self-identity” in Aozora Bunko which is available free of charge in Kindle, I immediately downloaded from the version of Kindle. I have strongly been enchanted by the first page. 

The real world has to be the world in which matter and matter work together. The form of reality is considered to be the relationship between matter and matter and it is considered to be the result which can be obtained by working together.
