A parrot video posted yesterday is a parody of the suicide bombing shown below.
Yesterday’s video brought about a burst of laughter due to the parrot’s character. However, this video never makes us laugh.
I’m going to give a brief explanation of this video as shown below.

Film footage showing the full details of suicide bombing in Afghanistan *Viewer Warning

<Exposition by Mr. Takeshita>

How do you feel about this video? As for me, I feel terribly painful. Some people consider this sort of action to be a foolish action of those brainwashed by terrorists. However, I perceive the action differently though I never accept war or terrorism.
It is because the soul of this young man still remains. As a matter of fact, he has a pure heart. Seeing the footage of this young man, you will find that he is so unbelievably peaceful and not hesitant to kill himself by suicide bombing. His smile is real.
I never accept terrorism. However, imagine what it would be like if this is not terrorism but resistance against an act of aggression by the U.S.? I showed in the article before this one how cruelly the U.S. treated Afghan people. I wonder if it is not allowed for the people to put up resistance to those who do violence.
I think that the wisest way is to expose the evil they did to the light of day and bring them to justice under the law. However, people like him who had been deprived of such means sacrificed their life to express their resistance. I am in no mood to blame them.
I do want that the world to be a normal world which requires no suicide bombing.

Guinea Pigs Lining Up – Too Cute images of guinea pigs at Japan’s zoo heading off to work seize the heart of the world

The two videos make me feel that guinea pigs are very cooperative with one another. We see very well that they have no sense to concentrate on consciousness to achieve an objective like human beings. I feel that they are always relaxed without extra tension.
Let’s try to feel like a guinea pig for a while. See your right foot with the right eye and see your left foot with the left eye. You don’t need to actually do so, but instead just see with mental eyes. That will do. Can you feel that you can breathe deeply without extra tension because you don’t focus consciousness on one point?
Human beings might concentrate too much on consciousness every day because we are pressed to achieve objectives. This seems to significantly reduce ability to go along or sympathize with others. Let’s become a guinea pig now and then.

I (=Ms. Eleanor Longden) Diagnosed with “Schizophrenia” Recover by Listening to “Voices” in the Head. – Exposition of how to meditate –

I think this is a very important message.  A woman who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and drugged has recovered by listening to the voices in her head.  This is the essence of meditation.
During meditation, you listen to thoughts in your head and keep watching and listening to them.  What is important is that you just listen to them without judgment of good or bad; in other words, you should just listen and try to understand them, not try to judge or resolve them.  Chattering in the head is the source of complaint which causes a thought.  It is necessary to keep watching your thought until the most fundamental thought or vision comes to your mind.  When taking in the light of consciousness any fear, uneasiness, confliction, past trauma and others, you would recognize them.  Recognition itself is the solution.  Taking as a whole the memories and thoughts you have separated and suppressed is treatment, which leads to liberation of your mind.  Doing this work thoroughly, the moment would come to allow you to accept you as what you are.  This is liberation in the true sense of the term.

This video teaches us that the ultimate remedy for mental disease is exactly the same as the method of mediation in religion that brings about enlightenment.

When you always keep watching your thoughts well up in your mind, while working, taking care of your children or enjoying being alone, in this manner, it is true meditation.  Those who live like this are sure to achieve enlightenment in this life, while living a daily life.  This is Karma Yoga (path of action).  I have felt the moment when psychiatry has come much closer to religion.

When you don’t have the time, please see between 07:40 and 11:25.  Around 09:25, she talks about the event that caused her to develop schizophrenia.  I imagine that she presumably had heard the voice of a man in the head.  It is because she is a female in body but a male in Linga Sarira inside her.  It is likely that a message was sent in the form of voice to free her from suppression.

6 Things Happy People Never Do – Very instructive article –

6 Things Happy People Never Do – Very instructive article –

I think this is a very instructive article.  This is not a secret to success.  Those who achieve social success are not always happy.  Happiness is originally nothing to do with success.  You have to make it clear whether you want to succeed or to be happy.

To gain social fame, to get rich or to marry a beautiful woman or handsome man is one thing and to be happy is another.  Instead, those who presumably possess these things actually become unhappy.  In a word, the ability to make efforts to realize a dream is nothing to do with happiness.

If you read this article with your understanding of such things, the article would be very instructive to you.  It gives you a hint that you don’t have to do anything to succeed but you should not do these things to be happy.  Happy people really love nature, stay optimistic, have a compassion for others, build a caring human relationship or wholeheartedly keep doing what they know is right.  They, however, never do what is written here.  It suggests that happiness is not something to gain but it is our true nature.

Excerpt from a Japanese article: Karapaia –July 14, 2014 –

* Note: Pictures are reprinted from Karapaia.

1.  Mind other people’s business.

Forget about what others are doing.  Stop looking at where they are and what they have.  Nobody is doing better than you because nobody can do better than you.  YOU are walking your own path.  Sometimes the reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind-the-scenes circumstances with everyone else’s public highlight reel.  We listen to the noise of the world, instead of ourselves.  So stop the comparisons!  Ignore the distractions.  Listen to your own inner voice.  Mind your own business.

Keep your best wishes and your biggest goals close to your heart and dedicate time to them every day.  Don’t be scared to walk alone, and don’t be scared to enjoy it.  Don’t let anyone’s ignorance, drama, or negativity stop you from being the best you can be.  Keep doing what you know in your heart is right, for YOU.  Because when you are focused on meaningful work and at peace within yourself, almost nothing can shake you

2.  Seek validation of self-worth from others.

When you are content to simply be yourself, without comparing and competing to impress others, everyone worthwhile will respect you.  And even more importantly, you will respect yourself.
How are you letting others define you?  What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?

Truth be told, no one has the right to judge you.  People may have heard your stories, and they may think they know you, but they can’t feel what you are going through; they aren’t living YOUR life.  So forget what they think and say about you.  Focus on how you feel about yourself, and keep walking the path that feels best under your feet.

Those who accept you are your friends.  Those who don’t are your teachers.  If someone calls you something and it’s true, it’s not your problem because it’s true.  If someone calls you something and it’s not true, it’s not your problem because it’s not true.  Either way, whatever they call you is not your problem.  What other people call you is their problem…
What you call yourself, and who you decide to become, is your problem.

3.  Rely on other people and external events for happiness.

Unhappiness lies in that gap between what we have now and what we think we need.  But the truth is, we don’t need to acquire anything more to be content with what we already have.  We don’t need anyone else’s permission to be happy.  Your life is magnificent not because someone says it is, or because you have acquired something new, but because you choose to see it as such.  Don’t let your happiness be held hostage.  It is always yours to choose, to live and experience.

As soon as you stop making everyone and everything else responsible for your happiness, the happier you’ll be.  If you’re unhappy now, it’s not someone else’s fault.  Take full responsibility for your own unhappiness, and you will instantly gain the ability to be happier.  Stop seeking in vain to arrange conditions that will make you happy.  Simply choose to appreciate the greatness that is yours in this moment, and the right conditions will start to line up around the contentment you seek.

The greater part of your happiness or unhappiness depends upon your outlook, and not upon our situation.  Even if things aren’t perfect right now, think of all the beauty still left around you.  A good reason to smile is always one thought away; choose to tap into it any time you like.

4.  Hold on to resentment.

Let today be the day you stop being haunted by the ghosts from your past.  What happened in the past is just one chapter in your story; don’t close the book, just turn the page.

We’ve all been hurt by our own decisions and by others, and while the pain of these experiences is normal, sometimes it lingers for too long.  Feelings of resentment urge us to relive the same pain over and over, and we have a hard time letting go.

Forgiveness is the remedy.  It allows you to focus on the future without combating the past.  To understand the infinite potential of everything going forward is to forgive everything already behind you.  Without forgiveness, wounds can never be healed and personal growth can never be achieved.  It doesn’t mean you’re erasing the past, or forgetting what happened.  It means you’re letting go of the resentment and pain, and instead choosing to learn from the incident and move on with your life.

5.  Spend prolonged periods of time in negative environments.

You can’t make positive choices for the rest of your life without an environment that makes those choices easy, natural, and enjoyable.  So protect your spirit and potential from contamination by limiting your time with negative people and the environments they inhabit.

When other people invite you to act like victims, when they whine and moan about the unfairness of life, for example, and ask you to agree, to offer condolences, and to participate in their grievances, WALK AWAY.  When you join in that game of negativity you always lose.

Even when you’re alone, create a positive mental space for yourself.  Make it a point to give up all the thoughts that make you feel bad, or even just a few of them that have been troubling you, and see how doing that changes your life.  You don’t need negative thoughts.  They are all lies.  They solve nothing.  All they have ever given you is a false self that suffers for no reason.

6.  Resist the truth.

It is a certain deathtrap when we spend our lives learning how to lie, because eventually these lies grow so strong in our minds that we become bad at seeing, telling and living our own truth.  Lives come apart so easily when they have been held together with lies.  If you resist the truth, you will live a lie every day as the truth haunts your thoughts every night.  You simply can’t get away from your truth by moving dishonestly from one place to the next.

So don’t bend; don’t water it down; don’t try to hide the truth with deception; don’t edit your own soul according to the fashion of what’s popular.  It is better to offer no explanation or excuse than a false one.  It takes courage and strength to admit the truth, but it is the only way to truly live.  Accept what is, embrace it fully, and live for the possibilities that lie ahead.

Indian Conjoined Twin Sisters, Ganga and Jamna, Find Love With The Same Man

Indian Conjoined Twin Sisters, Ganga and Jamna, Find Love With The Same Man

This is a startling video.  I was very surprised to see the video at first.  Immediately, however, I felt no feeling of strangeness.  I admire them for having survived in the face of their physical handicap. Although they are partly conjoined on the physical level, each of them should have ordinary independent body in the afterlife.  If they maintain this marital relationship, Ahmad would have two wives in the afterlife.  It sounds quiet natural to me.  It would be harsh for him if we force him to choose either of the two.  Like this case, I accept polygyny, polyandry and conjoint marriage as special exceptions.  In a word, nobody has a right to determine how marital relationship should be as long as they can live happily with their priority on love without any jealousy.  In this special case, one man can learn to equally love two women simultaneously and as a result, they can liberate themselves from jealousy through such relationship.  I think that this relationship is much healthier than modern marital relationship in which a man has an affair with another woman behind the scenes, superficially maintaining monogamy.

As for me, I feel monogamy is natural and don’t accept any other marital relationship.  However, I have no intention to force others to accept my opinion.  Although for any human who found a lifelong partner, monogamy may be possible, ordinary marital relationship will never last for a long time because it is merely a chance to learn each other even if among deities in the heavenly world.  What matters is not to stick to how marital relationship should be but to establish marital relationship based on true love.  During the process of growth through such relationship, one can get acquainted with someone, which will make marital relationship permanent in the true sense of the word.  Deities and humans alike are making efforts to grow to such level.

Indian Conjoined Twin Sisters, Ganga and Jamna, Find Love With The Same Man

Conjoined twins Ganga and Jamura, 45, are living in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.  They share two heads, three legs and four arms while having separate hearts, livers and kidneys.  The twins, who made a living by joining a travelling circus, have reportedly found a lover.

The two met Ahmad who worked part-time with the circus as a sound engineer.  According to Ganga, she fell in love with him at the first sight and so did Jamura.  Ahmad is a school teacher now.

The twins were born to an impoverished family.  Since their parents were too poor to have them undergo surgery for separation, they had been forced to be conoined.  The parents deserted them when they reached their teens.  Since then they have been working in the circus.

They married a man when they were 22 and got pregnant.  They delivered a baby by Cesarean section.  Regrettably, however, the baby passed away in a few hours.

Although the twins can afford to have an operation, they do not want it.

Lost Interview with Steve Jobs, who was 40 years old in 1995

Lost Interview with Steve Jobs, who was 40 years old in 1995

When I introduced a legendary speech of Mr. Steve Jobs before, I commented that he was a “great *karma yogi.”  The interview I have introduced today has reaffirmed the correctness of my comment.
He had almost no thought of money as I expected.  Creative people work in accordance with inner conviction, without thinking of making money.  They put their heart into work and naturally get reward (money) in return for their work.  Therefore, I would say that people who work to make money have unusual thinking in the first place.

It does seem that he was a Venusian and a **human Avatar who had incarnated to Earth to accomplish his mission.  I think that he had achieved a remarkable evolution since the heavenly reformation started in 2007 and he has now been reincarnated as a human (spirit body) of the Earthly Deity 4th level in the 5th System.  Perhaps he resides on the 3rd planet of Alpha Persei, Mairphak, in the constellation of Perseus.

It seems that in the future, science will develop to such a degree that communication with the universe becomes a commonplace.  I think that it will be possible at some time in the future for us to communicate with aliens dwelling in spacecraft or on other planets, in real time, in the same way that we can see incidents occurring on the other side of the world by satellite on the Internet.
I think that communication with people living far away from us, which is possible only through psychics with special ability like Mrs. Seiko Nakanishi at this time, will be freely available to all with the help of technology.  Perhaps Mr. Steve Jobs was a pioneer who opened up such a new horizon.  He should have recognized the mission with which he had come to Earth.

Story of an ex-homeless youth, who passed through hardships
and poverty and managed to enroll in university with will power, inspires a lot of people!

This is a good-natured young man with stormy good looks.  Deities pay special attention to such children.  For unscrupulous people who think that God never provides financial help, I’d like to provide one example.

There is a sushi restaurant our family used to patronize.  On a Wednesday night, we visited the restaurant where we had made a table reservation.  Surprisingly, we were the only customers there.  Since it was a nice restaurant, I didn’t want it to wind up its business and then wondered if there was something I could do.  Strange enough, there was a telephone call for reservation in no time and a couple with a little girl came there.  Hearing the family and the restaurant owner having a conversation, I found that the family seemed to visit the restaurant for the first time in a long while.  It was probably because an angel who read my mind sent to the family her vibrational energy which induced them to go to the restaurant.  Apparently, deities secretly paid attention to my feelings.  I did appreciated their thoughtfulness

I hear that subsequently, the restaurant was awarded as one-star restaurant to by the Michelin Guide and has had a thriving business.  We feel relieved to hear about it.  This is because our family have not been able to eat sushi because of cesium.
Oh, my wife has remembers that the name of the little girl was Serana.

Story of an ex-homeless youth, who passed through hardships and poverty and managed to enroll in university with will power, inspires a lot of people!

*High school student who stands hardships others hardly experience

It is Griffin Furlong living in Jacksonville, Florida who has graduated from a high school with a top GPA and will attend a university with his guts.

*He suffers from poverty in childhood

He lost his mother to leukemia when he was a child, leaving him with his father and elder brother.  They were forced to live in a homeless shelter for two years after his mother passed away.  When he was in sixth grade, his family finally moved into a home but money was scare and they often hungry.

*Before graduation from high school, he becomes homeless again.

Then, just a few weeks before graduation, he found himself homeless again.  He temporarily thought about dropping out of school, but he asked his girlfriend to stay at her house to secure an accommodation before moving in with an aunt and uncle.

*Top-class achiever in the face of adversity

Such situation like his easily makes ordinary students become delinquents.  Griffin maintained getting good academic achievements of all A’s and graduated with top-class achievements.  He graduated as valedictorian.

Although he was qualified to enroll in university with high level of academic achievement, has had to face hardship again.  University tuition was too expensive for him to afford it because he was raised in poverty.

*Donation enables him to attend university

Then, Griffin raised fund for his enrollment in college at a fund-raising site “GoFundMe” and succeeded to raise a goal donation of 20,000 dollars (approximately 2.04 million yen) within only a week.  He will go to University of Florida this fall.

*Strong will power makes everything possible

In an interview with TV, he says: “I try to accomplish everything I need to do.  All I have is school and family. I made up my mind to do my best because I didn’t want to lose either.  I did it for me and my mom all the more because I was through hardship.  He shows strength of character, unimaginable for high school student.  Needless to say, his guts touched many people and donation was raised in a moment.

It is easy to show the white feather and drop by the wayside because of hardship.  Therefore, I can help feeling that the younger generation should have such will power as he does.

New Celebrity’s Way of Life Is Rural Life [HUFFPOST]

New Celebrity’s Way of Life Is Rural Life [HUFFPOST]

I have recommended for years that you take in a lifestyle of *Dacha just in case of a future global confusion.  Needless to say, if possible, rural life is better for one who has no problem at work.  A problematic point in rural life is work.  However, it is difficult to live a decent life in the city now because an increase in employment of temporary workers has resulted in lower wages.  In contrast, some people are coming into the country from the city with the aim of living an affluent life by making creative efforts, though they have a low income.  I think that it is much better to live in the city where you cannot find how to make good use of much money you gain.  However, minimum income is dispensable to live a life in a humane manner.  To this end, social justice such as decentralization of power, fair distribution of wealth and fair payment of wages in proportion to working hours has to be enforced.  If not, it would be impossible to realize a humane, affluent life.

From this point of view, rural life of so-called celebrities, which is introduced in the article, makes me feel uncomfortable.  If feel that these types of people seem to mistakenly perceive a happy life, which is a legitimate human right, as something like fashion.  Arrogance of this writer makes me disgusted.

English translation of an excerpt from a Japanese article: HUFFPOST JAPAN – May 24, 2014-

New Celebrity’s Way of Life Is Rural Life

A new type of celebrity lives in the country (or in London on weekdays and in the country on the weekend), takes care of an old farm house, has secondhand furnishings gotten from a parent or purchased at a flea market, drives a beater Land Rover, has lots of kids (at least 3), grow organic vegetables in home garden, has a hobby of home baking, wears an organic cotton-made dress and Hunter boots.

They cite Jamie Oilver (*1) or Savannah Miller (*2) as an example of new type of celebrity, and they call this lifestyle the younger generation yarn for “Nouveau Peasant” (“New farmer” in French).

*1 --- He is a celebrity chef everybody knows (Official site: www.jamieoliver.com/about/jamie-oliver-biog).  His parents ran a pub, got familiar with cooking, and became explosively popular in a TV program “Naked Chef” he appeared when he was 23.  He is a household idol due to his naughty and cute character.  He is also devoting himself to charities like revolution of school catering (“Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution”).  He lives with his wife and four children in Essex.

*2 --- She is an elder sister of an actress Sienna Miller, and a fashion designer (Her brand –Twenty8Twelve: www.twenty8twelve.com/).  She spends three days a week in London and four days a week in her country house with her husband and three children.

Don’t say that such lifestyle is just a fad.  I posted blog entry entitled “Post-consumerand Omotenashi (hospitality)” in 2011.  These celebrities are not fascinated by “material things” which are sold in the times when anything is available, instead hand-made, organic, ecological story, and experience over material things are the key words.  I think this concept is shared in common in advanced countries.

Especially the U.S. and Britain experienced “Bling” times when 2007 was at the peak of housing bubble, which is still vivid in their memory.  Therefore, this trend might be “new” to them.

Leaving aside home garden and Hunter boots, I find it very interesting “to have lots of children.”  In the past the poor had lots of children, but recently anybody cannot give birth to children without economic resources.

Modern Slavery Society Created by Bankers and How to Bring Prosperity to Earth

Modern Slavery Society Created by Bankers and How to Bring Prosperity to Earth

It is said that the comsuption tax will be raised to 30 percent.  It appears that the government desperately wants to postpone the U.S. economic meltdown by extorting as much money as possible from us, but I suppose they will not be able to make it.  As they say that social welfare spending should be shlashed, our life is likely to be getting harsher.  Well, I want the government to aggressively conduct malgovernment.  This is because as is to be expected, nobody will vote for the LDP in the next election.

The second article describes the future Japan that I predicted nearly two decades ago.  People with annual income of more than 10 million yen are actually in a huge debt to pay back housing loan.  If they can sell their houses at the same price as when they purchased them, they would be lucky.  However, in most cases, they will have difficulty sellin houses due to a significant drop in assset value and have a huge debt left.  In a situation like this, if consumption tax is raised and regular workers are also forced to work unpaid overtime, I am afraid that they will be practically fired upon rejecting it and many workers will die from overwork.

Even those who remain full-time workers as winners will get paid less if overtime money is not paid.  Assuming that overtime money is paid as is, they wil have to work twice as hard as now.  In a word, from the viewpoint of the management, wokers would get paid less or workers have to work twice as hard as now if they want to get the same leve of payment.  It means that unless working hard, workers should not be highly paid.  The management shares the view that any replacement is avaialbe in developing countries.  As long as workers are bound on with a sort of chain called housing loan, it is hardly likely there will be way to have workers liberated from slavery in modern society, which is created by bankers.

Abour two decades ago, I said to my wife that this would happen.  We concentrated solely to childrearing in the harsh economic conditions, that is, with monthly income of less than 100,000 yen.  I often said to my wife: “We will not be able to experience such poverty again in the future.  Since it is very difficult to die of hunger in Japan, there is nothing to worry about even if we have no money.  If we put up with this situation for a while, we will manage to get out of it.  Since we give priority to childrearing, we will get through such poverty our own way, while around the same time very many Japanese will be forced to put themselves in such situation by social influence they never think of.  Since we have such an experience in advance, we will be able to send out a message of how to get through it.”

My prediction has almost come true now.  Since the current situtaion is much worse than the situation we were in, there is a possibility of death from hunger in Japan.  I have been sending various kinds of messages in this blog.  Given possible drastic changes on Earth, as I advise you, it is safer to live in the countryside.

With regard to the potential of rural areas, Satoyama capitalism is of some help.  However, if you go to the countryside to find a new opportunity simply because of escape from hard urban life, you will probaly fail.  People who can't make a living in agriculture are concentrated in urban cities.  There is   a successful example in my neighborhood: a dairy farmer sells out directly to consumers many kinds of  milk products.  If you do business with urbane taste, you will be able to live an affuluent life.
However, keep in mind that you cannot be free from human relationsip-related problems in the countryside as in a city: you cannot always feel comfortable or happy even if your business gets on track.

I suppose more and more people will have doubts about the nature of capitalism in which most of wealth gained through hardwork of the public is taken away by shareholders, namely, about how stock companies are managed.  And then they will recognize for the first time that companies in the form of unions protect the interest of the public.  However, they should understand that to have such companies become reality, however, they need a bank or a Shinkin bank that lends money to such companies.  In other words, banks of sound judgment like Shonan Shinkin Bank are indispensable.  In this sense, we have no other choice but to drastically change baking system in order to bring prosperity to Earth.

Need to raise consumption tax to 30%   Trial calculation to“reduce national debt

On 28, the Fiscal System Council, advisory panel to the Finance Ministry, has compiled a trial calculation of necessary increase in revunues and necessary decrease in expenditures to reduce the national debt.  They say that approximately 57 trillion yen of revenues, which accounts for 8.9 percent of the GDP, is required in the fiscal year 2021.  According to their trail calculation, if this amount of money is achieved through increasing revenues by comsumption tax increase alone, consumption tax has to be raised to nearly 30 percent.

The Counsil estimated the degree of how much balance between financial incomes and expenditures should be improved to reduce the outstanding debt, approximately 2.3 times as much as the GDP, to two times in the fiscal year 2060.  They say that even based on an optimistic viewpoint of nominal economic groth rate of 3 percent per year to continue, appropriate 57 trillion yen has to be improved in the fiscal year 2021.

In the Council meeting on 28, some members expressed an opinion that“The social welfare spending should be severely slashed.”

“Poverty Tribe”in Japan and “Rat Tribe”in China

The poor in China are called“Rat Tribe.”  The reality of the people who pay around 10,000 yen a month of rent and live in the basement is often being reported.  How about in Japan?

The other day I went to a sauna facility in Shinjuku, where I was stunned by a sight.  The facility also runs a *capsule hotel.  The hotel limited the number of loegers because there were too many guests to be handled.

(Translator's note) *A capsule hotel is a type of hotel developed in Japan that features a large number of extremely small “rooms”(capsules) intended to provide cheap, basic overnight accomodation for guests who do not require the service offered by more conventional hotels.  (Wikipedia)

It is also said that the number of people who stay in Internet cafes is increasing.  The number of Japanese“living”in capsule hotels, saunas, Internet cafes and apartments must be beyond imagination.

The reality of welfare-payment recipients is known because they had adresses and statistic on them are avaialbe.  The number is over 2.5 million and is about to be close to 3 million.
Nobody knows the entire number of those who cannot be included in the families receiving public assistance due to having no fixed adress.

Assuming those with less than annual income of 2 million yen are the poor, it can be said that statisticaly 20 million people belong to the poor.
Less than 30 percenet of the total number of workers reportedly gain annual income of less than 2 million yen.  Assuming the total number of workers is 65 million, 30 percent of it amounts to be 20 million workers.

If more than 20 million workers with income barely make a living, 2.5 million workers receive welfare and between hundreds of thousands and millions of workers are the poor shown in statistics, it can safely be said that Japan is a society where more than 20 percent of the population cannot make a decent living.

This is because Japan has become a society where the country is burdened with the downright poor and cannot fiture out the correct number of them due to not establishing a safety net for them and as a result, cannot save them.

There were Japanese without fixed adress who lived from mouth to hand in the past, too.  However, the number of such people now is estimated to swell to a level of exceeding the population of government-ordinance-designated cities and the number is daily increasing.  And yet we simultaneously see such trend among older peple and younger people.

If parents are the poor, their children naturally beomce poor in most cases.  Furthermore, since children cannot depend on their parents after coming of age, they will become the poor and needy as soon as they lose a job or address.

Japan is in the midst of the Goden Week holidays.  Winners are enjoying holidays, while the poor who are paid on a daily basis lose a source of income and find it difficult to make a living as soon as the society suspends its activities.

Full-timers are paid salaries while taking off from work, while non-regular workers such as temporary workers and part-timers lose their income.
For example, if they take four days off, 32,000 yen (daily income of 8,000 x four days) evaporates.  This is equivalent to the rent of a cheap apartment house.

Humans cannot avoid eating even if they have no jobs.

The number of the poor in China is increasing at a furious pace, too.  However, the poor in Japan are occupied by the aged and the young.  It can be said that this is a more serious problem in Japan than in China.

Let's take Sonny for example.  The annual income of Sonny employees is said to be around 10 million yen.  Given the current situation of staying in the red, it is no wonder if 100,000 of over 140,000 employees are fired.  The weekly mazagine Diamond runs a feature story that salaried workers with annual income of around 10 million yen are still suffering from miserable living conditions.  As soon as they lose jobs, many of them must go into bankruptcy.

The group of people who gain annual income of 10 million yen without savings account for over 20 percent of all workers .  If they buy an exclusive condominium with income as well as with a loan, buy a luxurious car with a loan, spend a lot of money going on a trip abroad and at home and give excessive education to a child, if any, they are always short of money.

We will see such sacking cases not only in Sonny but also in other corporations in Japan, because they cannot compete against overseas corporations and because the money workers were paid are not commensurate with their ability.

Although Japanese workers take 10 million yen for granted, corporations would fire workers with annual income of 10 million yen and employ workers abroad who are paid between 3 and 5 millioin yen if they can be replaced with Japanese workers.

The“Rat Tribe”in China still have a fixed address.  The“Sauna/Capsule Hotel/Internet Cafe Tribe”don't have even that.

“Small House Movement”  House of Female Self-Builder Pioneer, Dee Williams
 – Humans Can Live and Work Differently –

My family consists of my wife, child and me. We live in a small house, slightly larger than this house. It is a small log house, which cost a total of 2.5 million yen including foundation cost. A small house has merits a big house does not have. No family member is isolated thanks to closer matrimonial and parental relationship. We cannot live comfortably without careful attention to one another and as a result, we get to realize my own and others at a deeper level. Another merit is no need to borrow money from bank because it costs less. If we borrow money from bank, we wind up having to pay back as twice money as the debt to it and we have no money to spare.

Since we are free of debt, we can enjoy having French cuisines at a restaurant when we want to do. When we have 10 million yen, we can enjoy having French cuisine dinner 1,000 times. You will see how huge burden to household economy debt from bank is. As a result, a couple has to work like a horse and spoils an important personal relationship such as conversation between husband and wife and conversation between parent and child.

In a word, it is something like offering life quality in security to build a fine house. This article gives a message that humans can live and work differently.

Among the “small house movement” leading figures is only a female, Dee Williams.

It seems that she originally had a job related to environmental protection. She was clearly conscious of environmental issues. When she was at a loss as to what to do specifically as daily activity, she encountered with a small house designed by Jay Shafer and built this house on her own.

According to her, she got sick of maintaining a big house of 140 square meters she had because she knew the reality that they lived with too few things in developing countries. Then she immediately sold out the house, got a drawing of small house by Shafer and took three months to build this house at the garden of her friend’s house.

Amazingly, it cost approximately 700 thousand yen in total to build her house. The main body cost less than 400 thousand yen if subtracting trailer base and solar system. This is thanks to recycling wood scrap she found. Considering costing less, I suppose DIY devotees might be motivated to follow suit.

According to her, she has less than 300 things in her house. The room interior is quite simple and on the contrary looks wider. The house of about 9 square meters gives the impression of being spacious.

She found a company to support self-builders to follow after her by utilizing her experience of building a small house.

Many female participants are seen in a workshop at home she gives. You just have to buy a kit of small house and have working tools and know-how in order to open up a possibility. Being easy to deal with is a merit that two-by-fours have.

Small house life is supposed to be one proposal for new living environment in the age to come. It is highly likely that independent individual ECO consciousness of ‘simple and small’ will spread as a movement among people. I feel that power to voluntarily put into practice instead of loudly appealing will produce a big swirl.
