Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) Leader
Vladimir Zhirinovsky claims that what happened in Urals is not a meteorite fall
but the experiment of a weapon by the U.S.
Mr. Zhirinovsky, who is most known for
giving abnormal remarks, told reporters: “This is not a
meteorite fall but the experiment of a new weapon by the U.S. On Monday, Secretary State Department John Kerry
tried to contact with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in order to give a warning
about it. However, Foreign Minister
Lavrov was travelling in foreign countries.
The warning is the act of provocation by the U.S., which is likely to
have influence on Russia, too.”
According to Mr. Zhirinovsky, the universe
is the universe, which has its own rules.
“Nothing falls there. If something
falls, it is done by humanity. Humanity
is the instigator and challenger of war,” he says.
Before this incident, the U.S. State
Department announced that Secretary John Kerry had not been able to get contact
with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for three days. Foreign Minister Lavrov is on a visit to
Africa now. According to the State
Department, Secretary John Kerry wanted to talk about North Korean situation
and Syrian situation. Although Russian
Foreign Ministry received inquiry about urgent telephone talk from the U.S. on
February 12, the Ministry judged that it was impossible because Foreign
Minister Lavrov busied himself with a visit to Africa. Reportedly, the Minister told it to the U.S.
side.
