NHK reports that approval of U.S. Congress is necessary before she is
officially appointed as the post.
Mr. John Roos assumes the post of U.S.
ambassador to Japan now. Mr. Roos is the
former CEO of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a law firm situated in
Silicon Valley, U.S.A.
Ms. Caroline Kennedy is a long-time
supporter of Obama. At present she
serves as heads of multiple non-profit organizations.
