I made a comment on an article dated November 22 that it is likely that “with a mounting public criticism against the bill, Your Party and Japan Restoration Party will oppose a secret protection bill.” Although they subsequently voted in favor of the bill, with a mounting public criticism against it, they walked out to abstain from voting in the Upper House. I made another comment that “we will see the leaders of Your Party and Japan Restoration Party alter their facial expression soon.” Reading this article, you will understand that just such situation has exactly happened. The second article was written in July this year. I don’t think that a movement mentioned in this article is seen at present. Mr. Kenji Eda, former secretary general of Your Party, has decided to submit a written notice of resignation from the party on 9 and form a new party before the end of the year. A number of diet members belonging to the party are expected to get into line with him and breakup of the party is decided.

A person involved in the party said: “It is certain that more than ten people get into line with Mr. Eda.”

Party leader Yoshimi Watanabe gave a warning to Mr. Eda, who moves ahead with a plan to form a new party, saying “It is an antiparty action to prepare for forming a new party.” However, Mr. Eda won’t obey him and openly criticized Mr. Watanabe who had made a modified agreement with the ruling parties in dealing with a state secret protection bill, which Mr. Watanabe took the initiative in. Mr. Eda walked out to show opposition to the party’s policy approving of the bill when the bill was brought to a vote in the Upper House.

Mr. Eda has a plan to create a study group with Mr. Tsuyoshi Hosono, former DPJ secretary general, and Mr. Yorihisa Matsuno, Diet Representation secretary general with Japan Restoration Party on 10. A total of eight lawmakers including Mr. Eda took part in a preparatory meeting in late November.

On 7, Mr. Watanabe told reporters in Tokyo that he was even to ready to break up the party to “stick to the policy to exclude dissidents from the party” because Mr. Eda seemed to solicit party members to join a new party.

 I have almost the same opinion as this writer. Particularly what Abe is going to do is to make the entire Japan sweatshops, which is written in this article. It seems to me that he thinks of sending the Self Defense Forces as security forces to Africa, Myanmar and other countries to protect big companies which invested overseas but does not think of a war with China.

I think that he is managing the government so as not to incur the elite’s displeasure with the aim of taking charge of a long-stand government for the next three years. Therefore, it is natural to think that the next prime minister will play the role of engaging in warfare with China and Shigeru Ishiba is promised to hold a position as prime minister in return for it. Seen in this light, it is Ishiba that is the central figure involved in the secrecy protection law. However, I have an opinion that differs from this article: the Abe administration does not probably think of resuming nuclear power plant operation, which is different from the original plan. I’d like to explain about this in a coming article.

There is a phrase in the article: “We just want to protect children.” I feel that most people do the right thing thanks to this wish.

Secret Protection Law, radioactivity, electromagnetic waves, vaccination, food additives, genetically-modified food – from the viewpoint of protection of children, we have to be careful about every single of them. However, very few people specifically put their ideas into action. This is because, I think, they cannot actually be driven by a sense of crisis. First, since they don’t know the dangerousness, many people gain information mostly from the advertisement of media or government’s propaganda. It is hardly possible that big corporations which make enough money to advertise provide information unfavorable to their products. So such dangerousness never reaches their ears. Secondly, ordinary people are of good character and do not realize that most people give priority to making money, ignoring a slight possibility to cause damage on the environment or health. For this reason, they do not realize that there are scarcely decent commercial products in this world. You cannot know the truth only with automatically provided information. You cannot see the truth unless you independently go out and collect information.

I think the underlying cause of such matters is poor sensitivity. With high sensitivity, you will naturally realize what is right. For example, when you pick up a tofu made from genetically-modified soybean, you get tensed up, compared with a tofu properly made without such ingredient. It is very important to have such sense of body refusal and we should not have values that restrain such sensitivity. The biggest cause is probably education, I think,

 As I commented before, Japan’s real elite had decided to expel the Abe administration, aroung November 20. However, it was not certain because it was likely that this bill would be scrapped with the public opinon. As a result of this forcible passage, expelling Abe has been 100 percent determined. It will take some time to impliment it after enactment of the bill. There is no potential risk because the Abe administration will have collapsed by that time.
It has not been determined when to collapse the administration. However, since it is likely that they will expel the administration as soon as possible, it is unthinkable that the Abe administration will last until April next year at the latest. Those who have misinterpreted the Abe administration as a longtime one and drawn closer to this bill will fall short of expectations.

In fron of the Diet building (in front of the House of Representataives building) man people who got anger with forcible passage got together. Sidewalks were full of people who carried protest signs or banners.

“Don’t make a fool of the people.” “We’ll never permit forcible passage in a plenary session.” People continued yelling their discontent towards the Diet building.
