The important point to note here is no US dollars were involved. The last time the French tried to do something like this French IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn was falsely accused of raping a maid and fired. This came immediately after he found out the IMF gold that was supposed to back the SDR as a dollar replacement had been stolen by the Feds. This invocation of a “climate crisis,” seems to be a cover-up for the bankruptcy of the EU.
